Elementary School
One step inside our elementary school tells you that this is a special place. Children are treasured. Eager learners are encouraged to ask the next question, and discover the truth in God’s word. Imagination is valued as much as perseverance. Hugs are dispensed as willingly as teaching, and each child’s developing confidence and diligence to learn are celebrated. On any given day in the elementary classroom you will see children engaged in learning and play- listening, creating, writing, singing, watching, concentrating.
Parkhurst Academy faculty are experienced and committed educators who understand and value young minds. All extensively trained in education, our teachers use a team approach, gathering input from parents and the latest educational improvements- as well as their own close observations- to customize teaching and content to address each child’s strengths and interests.
