STANDARD UNIFORM
Frequency
- Standard uniforms are to be worn daily
Upper Wear
- PA issued polos - black, gray, red, or white
- Upper wear must fit properly – not too tight or too loose
- Upper wear must be tucked in for 6th – 12th grade students (exceptions for students with documented sensory issues)
Lower Wear
- Male Students: PA issued uniform pants or shorts – black or khaki
- Female Students: PA issued pants, shorts, skirts, or skorts – black or khaki § Lower wear must fit properly – not too tight or too loose
- Lower wear must be fitted at the waist
Belts
- 6th – 12th grade students must wear a black, brown, or khaki belt with pants and shorts that have belt loops (exceptions for students with documented sensory issues)
Outerwear
- Students may wear PA issued hoodies, sweaters, and jackets only
Dress Down Days
- On Fridays, students may wear any PA issued upper wear (athletic/club shirts, etc.) with their uniform lower wear
ATHLETIC UNIFORM
Frequency
- Pre-School and Kindergarten: Students may wear their athletic uniforms daily
- Grade 1 – Grade 5: Students are permitted to wear their athletic uniforms all day on days they have PE (Tuesdays and Thursdays). On days students do not have PE, students are to wear their standard uniform
- Grade 6 – Grade 12: Students must dress out for PE and dress back in to standard uniforms once the class is over
Upper Wear
- PA issued T-shirts – gray
- Upper wear must fit properly – not too tight or too large
Lower Wear
- PA issued shorts or sweat pants - black
- Lower wear must fit properly – not too tight or too loose
- Lower wear must be fitted at the waist
Military Cadet Corps
- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays students should follow the school’s standard uniform policy
- On Tuesdays and Thursdays, students are to wear their fatigues
- Students must dress out for physical training (PT) days, and dress back into standard uniforms once the class is over
Hair
- Hair should not be in a style or length that limits the student’s ability to learn (administrator's discretion)
- Hair should not be a distraction so that it interferes with a classmate’s ability to learn (administrator's discretion)
- At least 75% of the student’s hair must be a natural color
Jewelry
- Jewelry should be appropriate and not overstated (administrator's discretion)
- Gauges, facial piercings, and large hoops are safety hazards and may not be worn at school
- Jewelry may not display any inappropriate symbols (administrator's discretion)
Footwear
- Students are required to wear safe footwear
- Footwear must be close-toed and closed-heeled
Hats
- Hats may be worn in common areas and outdoors
- It is the teacher’s discretion whether hats are worn in each classroom
- If hats are worn, they must be free of logos, pictures, or text that is contrary to the Christian example we are to set for others (administrator’s discretion)
Make-Up
- Elementary students may not wear make-up
- Jr/Sr High female students may wear make-up in moderation (administrator’s discretion)
- Male students may not wear make-up at school or at any PA sponsored event, activity, or function unless issued by the school (i.e. make ups for plays / spirit paint)
